Beginner's Scarf
This is the pattern I wrote for my beginning Crochet Class.
This scarf uses: Chain Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, changes in yarn color, crocheting from the front or back of a stitch, and Fringe treatments. In the class, I teach basic pattern reading as well.

Tapestry in the making
I'm using the yarns I dyed to create my first tapestry. I love the simplicity of tapestry weaving... making the loom from easy to find materials and dying the yarns.

Closest green with copper beads: Verdiglow
Finally a finished version of the green handspun yarn. It's lovely. It's plyed with glazed cotton thread and copper colored glass beads.
Color decisions
My first batch of fiber reactive dies...
Wool...
All but the two browns are overdyed. The browish red on the right was overdyed with a little navy added. Originally it'd been neon orange.
I'm thrilled with the results.
