Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening - Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Silk Brick - Wonderland Fibers

Some of the most luxurious and beautiful silk I've ever laid my hands on.

This is for sale under Polyartgirl Inspirations at Spindies, the online Art Fiber Festival.

This is some of the softest, most luxurious silk I've ever had the pleasure of touching. It's not sticky like silk can sometimes be. It's soft and spins like a dream.

This brick has much of the natural sparkling white still shining through. The dyed parts are professional acid dyes in warm green and orange.

Silk brick comes in a roving that is about a hand wide. It's long fibers are aligned and may be spun into a very even yarn if that's what you desire.

100% top quality silk, hand wash any yarn or garment made from this fiber to keep it sparkling for many years to come.

Hand-painted bamboo samples for Phat Fiber. I'll list the rest on Etsy... well, most of it. I think some of it will be combed into some rovings... maybe a little more of it will be spun up into a gorgeous single yarn. Maybe there won't be much on Etsy... or not for long anyway!

I've decided to start playing with all of my stashed fibers. I have Everything at my fingertips, and I love to comb.

In the end there are about 5 roving balls with this set. They all contain the same fibers with differing levels of blending. The fibers include: handpainted mohair locks, supersoft white Merino, bright purple bamboo, lots of sparkly angelina, and just a touch of green sari silk.

I'll list this on Etsy in the next couple days as I start the next batch on my combs.

They're out of some really soft cormo yarn that I bought at the Pagosa Fiber Festival a few years back. I dyed the yarn last week, and it's been singing to me ever since.
